Harvesters provides an essential service and remained committed to the mission of providing food to those in need. During the pandemic, it was important to reach community members in need and make connections for support. My focus was to cut through the noise and create compelling material to raise awareness and funds.

 

Thank you video

With so many families in the community struggling and turning to Harvesters' networks for the first time, Harvesters hosted two mega mobile distributions to help with the demand. Above and in this video I created are some of the photos I took to help tell the story, and thank the community for their support.

This video was used on social as well as email. One donor wrote in saying they were moved by the video and proceeded to make an additional $2600 donation.

 

#GivingTuesdayNOW

GivingTuesdayNOW was a play on the original cause, with the date moved up to support COVID-19 relief. One week of promotion with six E-blast, five social posts, four social Ads, and one sponsored matched by the KC Royals, generated over 400,000 meals in one day. 

Staff Highlights

Harvesters’ staff had been working tirelessly every day to keep up with the demand of the community. With that, I wanted to highlight some of the staff members to give the community a look at the heroes working behind the scenes. The community responded overwhelmingly, with engagement numbers doubling.
